Multimedia features on a mobile
nextBLAST continues to lead in multimedia support for web feed content. This last weekend we introduced a number of new multimedia features, that we believe might be the first implementation on mobile phones.

Image Zooming on your phone – you’ve already seen images on your mobile phone using mobile browsing, or delivery subscriptions that send newly published items to your phone. Now, mobile browsing allows you to zoom into a photo and see those details you might otherwise miss. Try it with your Flickr feed (go to Add Your Own Feed > Create Flickr Search Feed) or chose a cool Astronomy Picture of the Day (Channel Directory > News > Science). Examine details, then send – with a Flickr photo, or any other item – to someone else using nextBLAST’s Send To Phone feature for any mobile phone, or send it by email. All from your phone (or desktop).

New experimental features
Stock Charts – The new channel in the Experimental group showcases the way to display Stock Charts on a mobile phone (Channel Directory > Experimental (demo channels) > Yahoo Stock Charts). This time we chose stock charts from Yahoo Finance. Charts are fitted to your screen, but also use the new zooming features to see details.

Audio From a Web Feed – Help us try out the new demo channels with audio content! (Channel Directory > Experimental (demo channels) > Audio > RSMS – Mobile Audio Testing). Are they hard to access? Can you hear the sound properly on your mobile phone? Let us know!
